About Bandit

Bandit is a wonderful young dog that is sweet, funny, and smart. He loves nothing more than cuddling or playing with his people! He is always ready for adventure... or taking a nap on your lap, if you prefer. He is also rock solid with other dogs and everybody thinks it's adorable when he play bows when he sees another dog. He learns quickly and takes treats gently. He can have a lot of energy, so he will need plenty of exercise, walks, and toys.

He was originally brought to animal control after being confiscated by the police. He became part of the Safe Humane Chicago Court Case Dog Program where he received socialization and training while he waited in the shelter for a rescue group to take him. He also participated in playgroups at the shelter and proved himself to be great with all types of dogs. Since he was rescued, Bandit has been living in a foster home where he continues to work on training. He is housebroken, knows the commands Sit, Paw, Down, Watch me, and Wait. He had some resource guarding issues in the shelter with food items, but they haven't continued outside of the shelter environment. So far he has loved everyone he's met and was afraid of and avoided cats during a cat test. If you would like more information on Bandit, please email carfforanimals@gmail.com

Help Patch Find a Foster | Chicago Dog Photography

Patch is an owner surrender that's been at the shelter for over a month, she needs to leave ASAP.

Currently, Patch has sponsorship for full vetting and food. Now she only needs a foster to come forward. Anyone interested in fostering Patch will have to fill out a Foster Application with an approved rescue.

A little bit about Patch (per her post on CACC Transfer Team Page)

"Owner surrender puppy, has skin condition, most likely mange. She has been waiting since 8/29 and we are resposting this new entry in hopes that she will get rescued. Good in leash tests

9/13 notes: cute little compact thing! high energy all over the place could use some work on manners a little grabby with treats/jumpy but easily corrected, playful and friendly with me treat motivated loved playing with the tennis ball, vocal in the yard, nice sniffs and wags w female seraphina at fence but also vocal / barky, not particularly people oriented"
